Maestranatura is an experimental teaching method for developing scientific thinking in primary and middle school children. The method is based on three key questions: “where does it come from,” “what is it for,” and “how does it work.” Since 2016, it has been used by the Italian National Institute of Health for a research project on developing new teaching approaches to food literacy.
